At the mouth of the Onosato river, there are many natural mud flats, some of the few remaining in Osaka Bay, which are now considered to be very valuable.
These are a unique ecosystem that is home to many rare species.

This is a stopover site for migratory birds. Egrets and black-headed gulls come flying in throughout the year, making it a popular area for bird watching
