■Sightseeing spot introduction
Established along the Kumano-Kaido road, the Umayado-Oji site was used as a resting and lodging place for travelers. In 1907 (Meiji 40), it was enshrined together in the current Ichioka shrine. Today, a memorial stone monument stands at the site. Additionally, it has been designated as a historical site by Osaka prefecture.
