Azenotani
Azenotani Jizoson is said to have been carved by a monk of Negoro-ji Temple in Kishu to pray for the recovery of the people’s illnesses.
It is said that the name Azenotani comes from the dense growth of the trees, and that the rock surfaces actually look as though they are sweating due to the moisture.
