History series of Emperor Jimmu’s Eastern Expansion
As recorded in Kokiji and Nihonshoki, the area near Tenjin-no-mori forest is believed to have been a natural harbor near the mouth of a river.
The Yamanoi Ruins Park in Tarui is beautifully maintained by the local people, and in Onosato there is the Onosato Ruins Monument built by the local residents. Near to the Onosato Ruins Monument is the place where Itsusenomikoto is said to have washed his arrow wound.
