National important cultural properties on display
Located next to the ruins of a large 7th century temple Kaieji, the archeological center provides information on the city’s cultural heritage.
There is a permanent exhibition of around 100 outstanding items of the Kaieji site artifacts, which have been designated as national important cultural properties. You can learn about the characteristics and historical background of when Kaieji was built.
